The majority of Jenkins machines use Industrial Grade Personal Computers with Microsoft Windows operating systems as the machine controller. The machine software is written in Visual Basic by Jenkins Controls Engineers, giving us the ultimate flexibility in controlling the machine. The PMAC motion controller card in the PC provides the computing horsepower needed for many types of complex contouring. The operator interface is typically a 15” capacitive color touchscreen monitor that provides clear images and directions for the operator. The flexibility of the PC allows us to connect limitless I/O points, barcode scanners, sensors, cameras and other devices to achieve our customers’ goals.
